The 5x3mm emerald-cut pendant was sized to have presence on the chain without overwhelming it. It's visible. It reads from across the room as a real stone, not a suggestion of one. The emerald cut — with its rectangular shape and step-cut faceting — creates a window into the stone rather than a fireworks display above it.
